Sugar Coffee Scrub..and it's edible!

I just made some more scrub yesterday and I thought that I should post the recipe. I never really use exact amounts...even in cooking, which is why I say I'm a great cook, but I can't bake :) Anyhow, you just need 3 ingredients...

Organic Sugar
Organic coffee (ground for drip, anything finer will leave black streaks on the skin)
Oil (I used safflower, you could use Olive or Grapeseed too.)

If I were to guesstimate I probably used about a 1/3 cup of sugar and around 2 tbsp of coffee. You'll find the combo you prefer. I added oil and mixed and added oil again until it was the consistency that I like. You won't want it runny, but not so loose that you can't scoop it up to rub it on your skin. Make sure you put it in an airtight container, like tupperware. It should keep for a month or more outside of the fridge. Keep it in your shower so you won't forget to use it!

I like sugar scrubs vs. salt because I think the salt ones burn sometimes. Using coffee gives the scrub the benefit of caffeine, which brings circulation to the skin. I use it on my face and body and it leaves my skin baby soft. And I also sneak a few tastes, cause it's sooo yummy:)
