Product Reviews

I've been trying several new products and I wanted to wait at least a month before I reviewed them. I get so excited about trying new things. It's like an adventure for me. I wish supplement and natural body care companies would hire me to do reviews. That would be a dream!
With winter on it's way and cold a flu season at its height, I stocked up on immune boosters for myself and my kids. I also tried a couple new skin products too. Here's what I tried and what I think!

Source Naturals Herbal Wellness Peppermint
- Great stuff, aside from the taste. It's really hard to make Echinacea and Goldenseal taste good since they're so bitter. I learned that adding it to some water made it easier for my kids to take. I will be re-ordering this in the larger size. My girls started to get sick and this nipped it in the bud. There aren't many good formula's out there for kids that are strong enough in my opinion. This formulation is great.

Source Naturals Immune Chewable
- The ingredients looked good, but this tasted so bad I had to send it back. My girls aren't even that picky, but they wouldn't touch this.

New Chapter Immunity Take Care- This is a little overpriced for an Elderberry Lozenge, but they taste great (most lozenges are bitter) and they guarantee that it's in your bloodstream within 30 minutes. I trust New Chapter and there potencies. This is great for adults and children.

Bio-Chem Wellmax
- AMAZING! I actually grabbed this at Whole Foods on the clearance shelf because the ingredient list was fantastic. What a great product! I cannot even begin to tell you the stress I've had over this last month, and inevitably, when I'm stressed, my defenses are down and I get sick. Not this time! I really believe it's the addition of Bee Propolis and NAC which is not commonly in these sort of immune blends. You start out with 3 tablets twice a day for 3 days. You then take 3 once a day for 8 weeks, take a week break, and then repeat the 8 week cycle again. You want to take a week break after 2 months with any product that has a lot of echinacea in it.

Source Naturals L-Theanine Serene- I've been recommending this for stress and have been unable to take because I was breastfeeding. Now that I'm down to only 2 feedings a day, I thought I'd have it on hand for those days when I'm about to pull my hair out. It works every bit as good or better than I thought it would!! This is a must have! Keep it in your purse so you have it with you and take as needed.

Solaray Adrenal Caps- My adrenals have definitely taken a hit over the last 4 years. Having 3 children 4 years old and under drains me and deprives me of much needed sleep. This is my go to product for adrenal restoration. It's very inexpensive and gives the extra boost I need. If you rely on a lot of caffeine, live a high stress lifestyle, or get too little sleep, you probably have exhausted adrenal glands. This is a safe and inexpensive way to get back your energy.

North American Herb and Spice Oreganol Cream
- This stuff is incredible, as is anything from North American Herb and Spice. They are the best of all the oregano products on the market. I've come to the realization that they are totally worth the higher price tag. With my love of oregano oil, I HAD to try this cream. I just turned 30...*GASP* (wow, it still hurts to say it), and I'm always on a mad hunt for anti-aging products. This formulation is packed with the highest ranking antioxidants in the world! And the stuff is completely natural. How natural, you ask? So natural you could eat it. It's made of bee products like honey, propolis, and royal jelly mixed with some amazing herbal oils like oregano, lavender, and St. John's Wort. Warning..this stuff burns for about 60 seconds after you apply it. The cost of beauty is painful sometimes. It doesn't burn any worse than my 10% glycolic acid cream, so I'm used to it. It's bringing blood to the surface bringing circulation to the skin which heals and rejuvenates. I can guarantee that this cream is the only all around antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic, antifungal and antioxidant cream on the market. It would awesome not only as a face cream to prevent and improve the signs of aging, but great for cuts, sores, fungal infections, and so much more. This cream is truly the "cream dela cream" cure-all folks.

Reviva Labs Hydrogen Peroxide Scrub
- This is really not a scrub at all, but rather a detoxifying wash. The hydrogen peroxide and collodial kaolin clay draw out impurities on a cellular level. I really like it a lot and my skin looks great after using it. I still require a real gritty scrub to really remove the dead skin though. Not positive if I'll purchase it again, but it's a nice product if you're looking for something a bit milder than a grainy scrub.

Hope you enjoyed.
